Perfect for younger riders, weekend warriors, or anyone who wants a taste of Route 66 without going full throttle.
The 45km route is packed with fast, flowing sections, punchy climbs, and enough challenge to make it memorable.
It’s also home to the Luxliner Schools Series, where school teams battle it out for bragging rights and the pride of wearing their colours on the Route 66 trails.
The Luxliner Schools Series is a Junior category, and is open to all under-19 riders, and prizes will be awarded to the first 3 male and first 3 female riders.
Ride for your school and the first placed team in the series will win R50,000.00 for their school and the winning school’s team manager/coach will win a weekend for 2 at Mount Grace Hotel & Spa, plus R5,000 spending money. (Note: all pupils competing have to ride in their schools team colours)

No prize money, but prizes will be awarded to the men, ladies, and junior winners.
